How Does Digital Transformation Facilitate Enterprise Total Factor Productivity? The Multiple Mediators of Supplier Concentration and Customer Concentration

Nowadays, no organization or sector is immune to the influences of digital transformation. It has been generally recognized as a significant promoter corporate efficiency and effectiveness. However, literature on whether how transformation can facilitate total factor productivity scarce. In this case, paper aims empirically investigate boost firm’s productivity. Using sample Chinese listed companies from 2007–2020 structural equation model analyses in STATA 16.0, identifies that (1) technology, one dimension transformation, effects enterprise productivity, while application, other directly enhance productivity; (2) both technology application indirectly through decreasing supplier concentration; (3) adversely affects increasing customer concentration, may positively affect concentration. Our study first explore mediating effect mechanism relationship between perspective supply chain management.
